Matt Zirwas, MD < Back Matt Zirwas, MD Faculty Matthew Zirwas, MD is an American Board of Dermatology certified physician. He is a nationally known expert who specializes in allergy patch testing, psoriasis, and eczema. Dr. Zirwas founded the Bexley Dermatology Research Clinic in 2017. The research clinic treats qualifying patients with the newest cutting-edge treatment options prior to the medications becoming available on the market for normal physicians to prescribe. He is also a physician contributor and dermatologic advisor for companies such as ALL Laundry Detergent, Cerave, AsepticMD, Women’s Health Magazine, and many more. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996. Dr. Zirwas also received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 where he became Chief Resident. Lawrence Eichenfield, MD < Back Lawrence Eichenfield, MD Faculty Dr. Eichenfield is chief of pediatric and adolescent dermatology at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and professor of dermatology and pediatrics and vice-chair of the department of dermatology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He is board certified in dermatology, pediatric dermatology and pediatrics. After earning his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, Dr. Eichenfield was a pediatric resident and chief resident at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He then completed his dermatology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Along with longstanding expertise in atopic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions, Dr. Eichenfield has interests in neonatal dermatology, vascular lesions, laser surgery and rare skin disorders. He has authored more than 400 journal articles, chapters, abstracts and books, and has served as the senior editor of "Neonatal and Infant Dermatology," published by Elsevier, as well as "The Eczemas." He served as editor-in-chief of Pediatric Dermatology for 12 years and currently serves on the editorial boards of multiple journals and periodicals. Dr. Eichenfield has held multiple leadership positions, including co-founder and co-chair of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance, co-chair of the American Academy of Dermatology Guidelines for Atopic Dermatitis, co-chair of the American Acne and Rosacea Society/American Academy of Pediatrics Pediatric Acne Recommendations for Diagnosis and Treatment, member of the Expert Panel Member of the NIAID Guidelines for Diagnosis and Management of Food Allergy, Scientific Advisory Board of the National Eczema Association, and director of the Rady Children's/UC San Diego Eczema and Inflammatory Skin Disease Center. Jennifer Cather, MD < Back Jennifer Cather, MD Faculty Jennifer C. Cather, MD, FAAD, is the Medical Director and Founder of Mindful Dermatology and Modern Research Associates in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Cather earned her BA in Chemistry at the University of Texas, graduating Magna Cum Laude and her MD at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After completing anInternal Medicine internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, she completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center and a residency in Dermatology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She is licensed to practice in Texas and California and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Cather has been an investigator in more than 275 clinical research trials in the areas of psoriasis and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and has authored or co-authored numerous abstracts and manuscripts. Her writing has appeared in such publications as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, The British Journal of Dermatology, the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, Cutis, Dermatologic Therapy, and Dermatologic Clinics. Dr. Cather lectures on investigational therapies in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, melanoma, and graft versus host disease, and she frequently serves as a consultant within these disciplines. Joy Mosser Goldfarb, MD Joy Mosser Goldfarb, MD Faculty Joy L. Mosser, MD, is an attending dermatologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Director of the Pediatric Dermatology Residency Program at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Mosser is board certified in dermatology and pediatric dermatology. Past clinical studies have included the use of topical steroids for atopic dermatology, tacrolimus for atopic dermatitis, pimecrolimus for atopic dermatitis, and lactic acid for ichthyosis vulgaris. Her educational activities include lectures to dermatology residents at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, pediatric residents at Nationwide Children's Hospital, and family practice residents at Grant Hospital. Worth, Park Cities at Home, Vail Sitters and Scout Reference, a B-to-B SAAS company providing reference checking services for trust economy employers. He enjoys the challenges of entrepreneurship and has started and led multiple early-stage businesses. Jim is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law and the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/economics with honors. He was the recipient of the OU President’s Medal and the prestigious Letseizer Award for outstanding graduate. Jim was a Commander in the US Navy Reserve (Ret.). He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jim also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Global Heart Ministries in Plano, Texas. Jim is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors for Rainbow Days, Inc., a non-profit organization serving at-risk children. He was a member of the Dallas Young Lawyers Leadership Class of 2000.
