Aaron Farberg, MD < Back Aaron Farberg, MD Faculty Aaron S. Farberg, M.D. is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon that specializes in skin cancer, inflammatory diseases, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Farberg is a summa cum laude graduate of Emory University and continued his education at the University of Michigan, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Farberg’s post-graduate training includes additional residency years at the University of Michigan in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and, in New York, as a clinical research fellow in association with the National Society for Cutaneous Medicine and New York University. He then remained in New York, completing another residency in Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he served as chief resident. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Farberg has been a clinical investigator on numerous studies, including FDA clinical trials. He is an accomplished author and has published over 100 articles in professional medical journals. Ciaran Smythe, DO Ciaran Smythe, DO Faculty Ciaran was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oregon with a degree in human physiology and minor in chemistry. He proudly followed in his mother’s footsteps by pursuing osteopathic medicine and attended the Western University of Health Sciences COMP-Northwest, where he received the prestigious Arthur O. Rott Scholarship and graduated valedictorian of his class. Ciaran began his residency training in orthopedic surgery, during which time he found his passion for dermatology. Matt Zirwas, MD < Back Matt Zirwas, MD Faculty Matthew Zirwas, MD is an American Board of Dermatology certified physician. He is a nationally known expert who specializes in allergy patch testing, psoriasis, and eczema. Dr. Zirwas founded the Bexley Dermatology Research Clinic in 2017. The research clinic treats qualifying patients with the newest cutting-edge treatment options prior to the medications becoming available on the market for normal physicians to prescribe. Antoanella Calame, MD Antoanella Calame, MD Faculty Dr. Antoanella Calame received her MD degree from University of California, San Diego (UCSD) after graduating Summa Cum Laude from California Lutheran University. She completed her residency in Dermatology at UCSD, followed by a Dermatopathology Fellowship at University of Texas, Southwestern (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas, where she trained with Dr. Clay Cockerell, one of the world leaders in the field of Dermatopathology. Dr. Calame is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology and holds over thirty active state licenses. She is the author of a book on Cutaneous Manifestations of HIV disease and has published numerous peer reviewed scientific papers. Dr. Calame is an invited speaker at local and national conferences every year. She has a special interest in melanoma and melanocytic lesions and is actively involved with the newest clinical and molecular techniques used in the diagnosis and prognosis of cutaneous melanoma. William Posten, MD William Posten, MD Faculty Dr. William Posten is a board-certified, fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon practicing in Dallas, Texas. He received his bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University and his M.D. degree from Yale University. He did his dermatology residency training at Northwestern University. He then completed a combined fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at University of Texas Southwestern. Dr. Posten currently serves as President of the Dallas Ft Worth Dermatological Society. He previously served as Secretary-Treasurer of this prestigious organization. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of both the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatological Surgery. Dr. Posten authors original research on novel surgical techniques and his findings are regularly presented in national surgical meetings.
