William Posten, MD William Posten, MD Faculty Dr. William Posten is a board-certified, fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon practicing in Dallas, Texas. He received his bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University and his M.D. degree from Yale University. He did his dermatology residency training at Northwestern University. He then completed a combined fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at University of Texas Southwestern. Dr. Posten currently serves as President of the Dallas Ft Worth Dermatological Society. He previously served as Secretary-Treasurer of this prestigious organization. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of both the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatological Surgery. Dr. Posten authors original research on novel surgical techniques and his findings are regularly presented in national surgical meetings. Recently, Dr. Posten has been featured on Top Docs of DFW, a television program highlighting the leading physicians of Dallas Ft-Worth show on channel 33 KDAF-TV. Dr. Posten is on medical staff at Medical Cities Hospital of Dallas, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Baylor Hospital of Irving, and Zale Lipshy Hospital of Dallas. He teaches medical students and residents surgical skills at UT Southwestern Hospital, Parkland Hospital and the Dallas Veterans Affairs Hospital. Matthew Leavitt, DO < Back Matthew Leavitt, DO Faculty Dr. Matt Leavitt is a board-certified dermatologist and the Chairman, Founder, and CEO of Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery (ADCS), the country's largest dermatology practice. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Ameriderm, a division that provides billing services for dermatology practices. Dr. Leavitt's vision led to the development of ADCS’s research division which has undertaken numerous studies for major pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, Dr. Leavitt founded Medical Hair Restoration (MHR), which he grew into a national practice for surgical hair transplantation that became the second-largest hair restoration practice in the country. Dr. Leavitt now holds the office of Executive Medical Advisor with Bosley, the largest hair restoration group in the world. Dr. Leavitt is the Chairman of the KCU-GME/ADCS Orlando Dermatology Residency Program. He has served as President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD) and is a founding father of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, where he served as its first vice president. Lawrence Eichenfield, MD < Back Lawrence Eichenfield, MD Faculty Dr. Eichenfield is chief of pediatric and adolescent dermatology at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and professor of dermatology and pediatrics and vice-chair of the department of dermatology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He is board certified in dermatology, pediatric dermatology and pediatrics. After earning his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, Dr. Eichenfield was a pediatric resident and chief resident at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He then completed his dermatology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Along with longstanding expertise in atopic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions, Dr. Eichenfield has interests in neonatal dermatology, vascular lesions, laser surgery and rare skin disorders. He has authored more than 400 journal articles, chapters, abstracts and books, and has served as the senior editor of "Neonatal and Infant Dermatology," published by Elsevier, as well as "The Eczemas." He served as editor-in-chief of Pediatric Dermatology for 12 years and currently serves on the editorial boards of multiple journals and periodicals. Nicole Neuschler, MD < Back Nicole Neuschler, MD Faculty Nicole Neuschler, M.D., is a board certified dermatologist who has been practicing in Denver since 2008. Originally from Northern Virginia, she attended the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University in Chicago where she received both a BA in Environmental Sciences and her medical degree. She then completed a year of Internal Medicine and her Dermatology residency at University of Michigan. She spent a year as an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, before heading west. Dr. Neuschler’s interests include general dermatology, skin cancer and pediatrics. She prides herself on making connections with her patients that extend beyond simply fixing their skin. She enjoys teaching and helped to train many other physicians and physician assistants. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, hiking and exploring Colorado. High, MD, MEng, a native of Colorado, is the Vice Chairman of Dermatology, and the Director of both the Dermatology Clinic and the Dermatopathology Laboratory at the University of Colorado. He is board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He also has certification in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene. After practicing as a chemical engineer in the industry, Dr. High returned to medical school to receive his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. Dr. High completed his dermatology residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident. He completed his dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. High is appointed to the Departments of Dermatology & Pathology at the University of Colorado. His research laboratory was the first in the world to discover gadolinium in the tissue of patients with nephrogenic systemic fibrosis. Dr. High also has a degree in law from the University of Denver. He has authored 4 textbooks, 40 chapters, and more than 80 medical papers. Barak Richman < Back Barak Richman Faculty Barak Richman’s primary research interests include the economics of contracting, new institutional economics, antitrust, and healthcare policy. His work has been published in the Columbia Law Review , the University of Pennsylvania Law Review , Law and Social Inquiry , the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the American Medical Association , and Health Affairs . In 2006, he co-edited with Clark Havighurst a symposium volume of Law and Contemporary Problems entitled "Who Pays? Who Benefits? Distributional Issues in Health Care,” and his book Stateless Commerce was published by Harvard University Press in 2017. Professor Richman represented the NFL Coaches Association in an amicus curiae brief in American Needle v. The Nat’l Football League , which was argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in January 2010 and again in Brady v. The Nat’l Football League in 2011. His recent work challenging illegal practices by Rabbinical Associations was featured in the New York Times . And in 2020, he was a member of the Working Group on Platform Scale at Stanford University’s Program on Democracy and the Internet that proposed middleware as a solution to stem the economic and political power of dominant internet platforms. Professor Richman also is on the Health Sector Management faculty at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and is a Senior Fellow at the Kenan Institute for Ethics. He won Duke Law School's Blueprint Award in 2005 and was named Teacher of the Year in 2010. He has had visiting appointments at Columbia, Harvard, and Stanford. Professor Richman has an AB, magna cum laude , from Brown University, a JD, magna cum laude , from Harvard Law School, and a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied under Nobel Laureate in Economics Oliver Williamson. He served as a law clerk to Judge Bruce M. Seemal Desai, MD < Back Seemal Desai, MD Invited Faculty Dr. Seemal Desai takes pride in providing his patients with the highest level of dermatologic care. Dr. Seemal Desai is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Board Certified Dermatologist. He graduated with honors from Emory University. He received his medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree with Magna Cum Laude with honors. Following medical school, Dr. Desai completed his medical internship in Internal Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and served as Chief Resident for the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Desai has been active on a local, state, and national level with numerous medical organizations. His major accomplishments have been with the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Association and many others, where he has held numerous elected and appointed positions. He is also actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
